Freight rates for European routes remain highly uncertain.

Ningbo Shipping Exchange: Some shipping companies have announced their Europe route rates for the first week of July, ranging from 3,130/FEU (Maersk) to 4,045/FEU (CMA CGM), with most adjustments below $3,500/FEU. Due to severe port congestion on European routes and tight cabin supply, the probability of a July rate hike on Europe routes is relatively high. However, the actual implementation of the price increase should not be overly optimistic. In the medium to long term, considering the impact of capacity adjustments on North American routes, concerns about future cargo demand on European routes, and the evolving and prolonged Iran-Israel conflict, freight rates for European routes remain highly uncertain.
